I was a little bummed to tell you the truth when I realized tomorrow is Thanksgiving. My last few Thanksgivings might have been turkey dinner Lean Cuisines, but I couldn't even find those at the store. And a meal is no less festive just because it's been nuked. But! Then I figured it out. This is an education opportunity. We celebrated Halloween we can celebrate Thanksgiving, too! Who cares if the other Americans are hiding? Or... I don't know. Maybe they got lost in the secret attic or dungeon or on the mooooors.
So bear with me. Tomorrow I'm going to try to make as real a Thanksgiving dinner as I can. I'm not sure if you guys have turkeys here, though. I googled "Scotland turkey" and got a bunch of vacation recs. But I know you have potatoes and stuffing is savory bread pudding sort of and that sounds really Scottish. Pumpkin pie'll be a total crap shoot.
I guess it might be kind of a sore spot because Thanksgiving celebrates people escaping Britishprosecution persecution pr persecution , but... sounds like Scottish people don't like British people much? Anyway we can ignore the history and just enjoy good food and wine and hopefully pie and bonding. Or we'll fight like cats and dogs and it'll be an authentic Thanksgiving.
Attendance is mandatory.

Yeah! It's yummy. I always put tons of spices in, so don't worry if you don't like pumpkin. Won't taste it anyway.

But if I really wanted to be nice I probably wouldn't have cooked at all.

Although I'm not the best judge, I'm certain your cooking isn't that bad. We'll live through the night I'm certain.

(I'm pretty sure I didn't give anyone food poisoning. Just beating myself up cause I've always thrown subpar Thanksgivings.)
